Stevens Creek offers decent fishing for a variety of species. It is regularly stocked with rainbow trout by CDFW during colder months, while also housing warm-water species such as largemouth bass, crappie, carp, and catfish. However, fluctuating water levels can be dramatic, with heavy drawdowns during the summer and quick fill-ups during heavy winter rains. Unfortunately, this does affect the fish population and prevents the fishery from ever reaching its full potential. Be prepared to pay a fee for parking and access.
