Trinity Lake has been providing very good bass action for the last couple weeks. Both smallmouth and largemouth are moving shallow, and they are hungry for reaction lures. Crankbaits have been the ticket. The water is extremely high, so the newly flooded shoreline provides the perfect structure for largemouth. Smallies are holding closer to points and rocky areas. Once again, fish fast. Slower finesse styles have not been producing.
