Lewiston Lake offers excellent fishing for Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Kokanee Salmon, and even a few Bass. This long and narrow reservoir stretches 9 miles and serves as a transition between Trinity Lake and the Trinity River. Lewiston uniquely keeps a fairly consistent water level and temperature (near 50 degrees) throughout the season, which is ideal for trout and salmon.

Fly fishing, shore casting, and trolling are all popular ways to target fish on Lewiston. The average depth is a shallow 8 feet, but it deepens to 70 feet near the dam. Boats are limited to a 10 mph speed limit, keeping many water sports off the lake. Campgrounds are available.
