It's been catfish galore after a couple of stockings in recent weeks. The stockings should continue throughout the summer, and so should the excellent catfish bite. For bait, the usual suspects are working just fine: chicken liver, anchovies, garlic shrimp, etc. Bass have eased out from the shoreline after spawning, and the action has slowed.
