Bass are biting consistently at San Vicente right now... mostly smaller fish, but plenty of them. Drop-shots are the go-to, especially thrown near boulders and points in 20 feet. Flukes are working early morning when fished shallow. Some anglers are reporting a solid reaction bite on small jerkbaits and baitfish imitations, while others are striking out... seems hit or miss.

Water is incredibly low, but the lake’s still open. A few reports of big redear are trickling in, with fish caught on small jigs and redworms.
