Reports say big bass are finally on the prowl. Spring at Vicente has served up a solid bass bite for smaller bass so far, but large fish have been tough to come by... that is until recently. Anglers are spotting and hooking 5+ pound fish in the shallows down to 15 feet. Texas rigged creature & craw soft plastics have been hot for bottom fish, with flukes working for fish suspended. Larger bull bluegill are showing in the shallows also, a blast for ultra-light anglers.
