Spring is in full swing, and the bass are biting, although their behavior has been slightly unpredictable. Many fish have moved shallow, behaving as prespawners should. But quite a few fish remain deep, in over 25 feet of water. Slightly unexpected for 64-degree water this time of year. Anglers are finding success with finesse techniques, primarily dropshotting. Jerkbaits are also getting bit. No reports of any sizeable fish yet.
