Bass fishing at El Capitan has been consistent, with a lot of small to average-sized fish in the shallows. Not much was reported over 1.5 - 2 pounds. Finesse has been the name of the game... weightless plastic worming or drop-shotting. The crappie bite is improving but hasn't unlocked entirely yet. Also, the new lake record blue catfish was caught a couple weeks back, weighing over 60 pounds.
