Anglers are still enjoying quality bass and trout fishing at Big Bear. Trollers are using lead core line with inline spinners in a variety of colors. Shore casters are getting the most action on the north end throwing floating baits. The bass bite is good and seems to be still improving. Smaller finesse worms are getting the most action, especially for smallmouth. To note... the smallmouth lake record was broken a few weeks back weighing over 4 pounds.
