Cahuilla just got its third and fourth plants of the new year last week...one from RiverCo Parks, the other from CDFW. Since November, trout have been stocked nearly every week, giving anglers one of the most reliable winter trout bites around (although not a lot of size). PowerBait remains the go-to, with spoons and spinners also getting bit early in the day. There's still a very good catfish bite... floated night crawlers have been a solid option for targeting both trout and catfish.
