Trout action for trollers has been very good, especially for the beautiful Eagle Lake trout. The bite has been primarily shallow in the early morning, but quickly moves to 20+ feet after sunrise. Trolling 3.5mph to 4mph with spoons such as the Speedy Shiner has been the ticket. The bass bite is still hot for those throwing chatterbaits shallow. Other bass anglers are finding success with dropshots or other finesse baits in deeper water (where the bait is).
