Trout action is picking up as water temps climb, and rainbows are becoming more aggressive. Anglers are seeing consistent bites tossing spoons and spinners, especially in hot pink (top color lately). Fish are holding in typical spring zones… off points, ledges, and anywhere with a mix of depth and structure.

Some are reporting light bites where fish will track and nose the lure before committing, so it pays to pause or twitch the retrieve. Mornings have been best, before wind picks up. By mid to late morning, conditions can shift fast, with rollers pushing boats off the water.
