Trout season is officially here. Pyramid received its second 5,000-pound stock last week, firing up a very good bite, and not just for trout. Shore anglers are throwing Powerbait, jigs, and trout worms... many getting limits. Boaters are trolling Kastmasters with some success as well. But these trout plants are also kicking up potential action for trophy striper and largemouth bass. Spoons and A-rigs are still the go-to for stripers right now, and dropshots for largemouth. But now with trout back in the system as the perfect big fish forage, throwing 6-8 inch trout-color swimbaits near steep bluffs and points could yield an absolute giant.
