Conditions aren't the best at Pyramid. Muddy water from the winter rains has hampered fishing for all anglers. Recent trout stockings have provided plenty of fish, but catching them has been a different story. Scent is key. Bass have been seen close to shore but are quite apprehensive. Some have found success throwing bright-colored baits gently into the shallows. As the water clarity improves in the coming weeks, so should the fishing.
