Castaic bass are getting more aggressive as the water temp rises, but haven't fully moved into shallows yet. Finesse (drop-shots) and worming have produced a few fish, especially in shad colors... but not in notable numbers. They are hard to find. Look for drop-offs near shallow coves and points. Striper action continues to be slow, but a few anglers are still catching trout. Water clarity is getting better by the week.
