Tilapia are active and aggressive right now, with multiple fish in the 7–8 pound range being hooked lately by anglers using smaller swimbaits. They’re responding well to any moving baitfish style lure worked near the bottom or mid-column, and folks are landing some absolute tanks.

Bass are in the mix too, with smaller fish showing up on rattle traps in shad patterns. It's been all about staying mobile and covering water.
