Bob Tyler mentions Clear Lake is doing what it always does in spring—throwing curveballs. A wave of big bass have moved up, but weather swings and a water temp drop have fish acting picky. Water clarity ranges from clear to mud depending on your location. Fish seem to be schooled up tight to cover. Brush hogs, squarebills, chatterbaits, and underare getting fish, but it's hit or miss.
