Water temps have dipped quickly over the last month, now into the 40s, and the trout are loving it. Shaver saw multiple CDFW plants through November, but the main story has been the quality of fish coming from trollers. Folks are running wedding rings behind dodgers between 20-30 feet, pulling in quality trout up to 5 pounds. Kokanee are showing too on the same setup, but less frequently. Otherwise, stockers are hitting powerbait, mice tails, and micro spoons near the Marina. No bass reports lately... with temps this low, that bite is pretty much shut down until spring.
