Catfish are still the main attraction at Shadow Cliffs right now after August stockings, with good numbers and size coming off the docks on dough-style baits, anchovies, and even hot dog chunks. Bass are hugging the tules and hitting finesse plastics like weightless Senkos and T-rigged Roboworms, though most of are fish are small, although a 4-pounder was reported last week. Bluegill everywhere and taking jigs, spinners, and worms under a bobber, though not a lot of size. There’s a posted algae advisory in effect, but this should wain with the colder nights approaching.
