Caught a rainbow trout at Lake Murray around 8:30 AM using a bluegill-colored squarebill crankbait. The bite happened as the lure bounced off the rocks in a shallow area near a cove. It was a small catch but put up a great fight. About an hour later, I got two big bites near the entrance cove but wasn’t able to hook up.
