Stripers are moving in the lower Delta and we are catching many in the 10 to 15 pound class. More fish moving in every day and the bite has been great using swim baits and spoons from as shallow as 3 feet down to 15 and 20 feet. lets get out for some of the fun and book now.
This is transition time when fish sense winter coming with shorter days and cooler nights. Bass move off shore feeding on bait schools and cold water fish like trout get more active. This time of year can be the most productive for all. Starting to catch many on spoons fished down to 50 feet as well as jigs and drop shot rigs. Book a trip soon!
Topwater baits only caught 4 fish today. Started dropping spoons in 40 feet of water watching Bass feeding on shad. Caught largemouth and smallmouth using Blade Runner spoons. Switched to drop shot rigs and caught a few more.
Had a Husband & Wife team out for some Bass fishing and the fish cooperated as she caught her first topwater fish and he caught the biggest weighing in at 5.12 pounds. Rest of the day caught some nice bass on Drop Shot rigs.
